Building futures: career readiness in action
Today's job market requires individuals who can solve problems quickly and effectively. Career Readiness and Career and Technical Education (CTE) offers a unique opportunity to learn how to do this in real-world settings, through courses that focus on all of the different program areas.
Monroe and Parkwood high school students have applied the skills they've learned in their CTE classes by volunteering and building a home with Habitat for Humanity. Watch the video below to hear students' perspectives on the project.
