What are your most and least favorite subjects and why?

My favorite class at Weddington High was AP Earth Environmental Science. I love learning about our impact on the planet and what we can do to better our environment. One of the things I found most interesting to learn about was our individual carbon footprint and how that then works as a collective. Psychology was another AP class I took that I liked a lot. 

My least favorite would be math. It’s not one of my strengths.

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be and why?

I travel a lot and have been to Sweden, Denmark and across the U.S. I would travel to southern Europe since I haven’t been there yet, maybe Portugal. I feel like it’s culturally different from the other places in Europe. I have some Portuguese in my heritage so it would be cool to explore it. 

What careers interest you?

For a long time, I thought I’d continue to be a professional gamer or be in entertainment. I’ve come to realize it isn’t something I want to do forever. My favorite thing that has come out of gaming was the business side of it, like negotiating contracts and brand deals. I’m considering something within that realm. I loved my business law class for that reason. 

What clubs or activities do you participate in? And why? 

I didn’t participate in any because most of my time was spent training for and participating in video game tournaments since 2016. Any downtime was spent with my friends and family. I also started working as a waiter recently, which was a nice break, too. 

If you had to choose between spaghetti or pizza, which would you choose?

I’d choose pizza but it has to have pineapples on it.

What is your happiest school memory?

My happiest school memories are the little things such as making new friends, smiling in class and making other people laugh. I think those are the times that should be the most appreciated. Those are the things that will be gone before you know it. 

What advice would you give your parents or teachers?

My advice would be to treat everyone as an individual. I think that a lot of the root causes of societal issues are because people are often seen as a group rather than individually.
