We all love fall, especially in the art room! Ms. Mills and Mrs. Antol’s classes have been learning that it’s all about perspective! Keeping perspective in mind, they created two different fall tree landscapes. In one, they pretended they were lying on their backs looking up at the tops of the trees (worm’s-eye view). The second they drew as if they were looking out at a group of trees. After painting in some beautiful warm colored fall leaves, the projects were ready to mount!
The EC classrooms have also been learning about texture and windy days! Using forks for paint brushes they painted on a “windy day sky”. Some bright oil pastel colored leaves blowing in the wind put the finishing touches on their masterpieces. We love fall y’all!
