Health and Safety Messages for Thanksgiving Break
As you prepare for Thanksgiving Break, please consider the importance of staying safe this holiday season.
- Spread love, joy and cheer this holiday season, but remember to keep your health a priority and slow the spread of COVID-19 and the flu virus by practicing the 3 Ws: Wear, Wash and Wait.
- Tis the season for holiday gatherings! Keep your friends and loved ones safe by remembering to keep your hands away from your face and wash your hands for at least 20 seconds before entering and exiting social gatherings.
- Try to minimize physical contact when you are a guest at someone’s home to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and the flu virus. Instead of shaking hands, give your friends or family members a wave or elbow greeting!
- Early detection is key. Before you attend a holiday event, be sure to screen yourself for COVID-19 or flu symptoms. If you are not feeling well, stay home and help slow the spread.
