South Providence looks to the stars!

South Providence Teachers and Staff took a break from their busy day preparing for the 2017-2018 school year to view the Eclipse.

The Eclipse, which was at about 98% coverage here in Waxhaw, was an out of this World event that prompted the teachers and staff to step outside and take a look, with proper protection.

The staff took turns with Eclipse glasses and viewers, and Mr. Hopkins showed us all how to view the eclipse through a hole punched in a index card.
