Stallings welcomes new staff members

Stallings Elementary is excited to welcome three new staff members to our team! Ms. Jessica Fenyves is our new School Counselor. Originally from New York, Ms. Fenyves has a Master’s Degree in counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She loves spending time at the beach and with her dog, Jasmine. Ms. Fenyves looks forward to working with our Stallings’ Family.  

Keith Koteles joins us as our new PE teacher. Mr. Koteles is originally from North Carolina and has been in education for 10 years. After receiving a BA in Physical Education and Health from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Mr.Koteles has had the opportunity to teach elementary, middle and high school. He is also the Head Women’s Varsity Soccer Coach and Assistant Varsity Men’s Soccer Coach at Marvin Ridge High School. Outside of school he enjoys the outdoors; especially at the beach or deep in the mountains hiking. He completed his first full marathon in November in Charlotte and last spring completed a half marathon in Hawaii.

Stallings also welcomes a new Assistant Principal, Dr. Stephanie Hunter-Brown. Dr. Hunter-Brown is a former administrator from York County Schools in Yorktown, VA. "Dr. HB" enjoys her role as an administrator and is passionate about positively impacting the future of all students and staff.  Dr. Hunter-Brown is happily married to her husband Kelvin and enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. She also enjoys reading, writing, and dancing!  Dr. HB has been in the educational field for 20 years. She has worked as an EC teacher, High School English teacher, and Middle School Reading Specialist prior to becoming a high school administrator in 2010. She believes that all students can succeed and the three R’s in education are: Relationships, Relevance, and Rigor.
