On July 31, the administrative teams from both Shiloh Valley Schools hosted an Informational Night for their parents and families. The event took place at both schools from 4-6 PM. Staff members from both schools and Shiloh Valley PTA members were present and provided school tours for families. Representatives from UCPS Child Nutrition, After School, and Transportation were also on hand at both schools to provide parents with information about next year and to assist them with any questions they may have had. A meeting was then held at Shiloh Valley Primary School for parents who will have students in both schools next year. The administrative teams from both schools are working to ensure that the school community is well-informed about next year and the new school model, and they are working especially hard to communicate with parents who will have children in both schools.
The schools are looking forward to a smooth opening of school on August 26. Both schools will host Open House/Meet the Teacher events from 4-6 PM on August 21 and 22. Parents are to attend the one night that works best for them.
