Yesterday, our students enjoyed a performance on energy conservation from The National Theatre for Children. They’ve partnered with Duke Energy to put educational tools in the hands of families and save 10 million kilowatt-hours across 4 states! Our goal is to save at least 20,000 kWh. We can do that by signing up for 100 FREE Energy Kits. Once we do, our school wins $250! Request yours now at MyEnergyKit.org or call 1-855-386-9548.
The National Theater for Children engaged some SVMS sixth and seventh graders with comical skits that had the students roaring with laughter. In the process, the students learned about the difference between renewable and nonrenewable resources and ways they can cut down on use of water and electricity.
