Students will receive high school registration information and materials during a grade level broadcast during Homeroom on February 16th. Dr. Harvey and the SVHS Counseling Department will offer an Informational Parent Night on Thursday, February 16th at 6pm in the SVHS Auditorium to go over the registration process with parents. 

Additionally, a Parent/Student Drop in night will be offered on Thursday, February 23rd from 5-7pm in the SVHS cafeteria.  Counselors will be available to meet with students and parents 1:1 for registration questions and assistance.

Students (and parents) will have access to the following resources on the SVHS School Counseling website: a SVHS registration card, written instructions further detailing the process, a brief recorded Screencast demonstrating how to make course selections in PowerSchool, a powerpoint presentation to reference at your own pace and a four year plan. 

Courses must be entered into Powerschool between Feb 20th and Feb 28th. High school counselors will meet with all 8th grade students individually to review course selections during the week of February 28th.  Course selections should be entered in Powerschool PRIOR to this meeting.
