On January 30th, 2020 third grade students spent the afternoon presenting research projects they have been working on for over 6 weeks. Students researched the food, landmarks, cities, and animals of countries around the world. Students then turned this information into a digital presentation and a poster presentation. During this unit students also wrote persuasive essays, aiming to persuade readers to visit the country that they researched. Each student became an expert on one subtopic and presented that to visitors on Friday. Parents, community members, and staff toured third grade classrooms listening to student presentations and viewing the digital presentations. The third grade teachers and students would like to thank everyone for their support and helping us celebrate all of the hard work done for this project.
