For the month of January, all fourth grade students completed a research project on many important historical figures, such as Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, Paul Revere, and more. Each student was required to gather information through a variety of sources, including online research and reading books on the figures. Students used this information to create a research report, backdrop, as well as to create a costume representative of the historical figure. With the help of teachers, the students set up a living wax museum to display all of the information they learned about each figure. At the museum, students gave an oral presentation sharing important facts and information about the figure. Parents, as well as other WCES students were invited to the event! The event was a huge success. Way to go fourth grade!
