Learning through after school enrichment!

WASEP (pronounced “way-sep”) is a collaboration of Wesley Chapel parents, faculty, and staff who provide a variety of quality, enjoyable, and educational classes to all students attending Wesley Chapel Elementary. The purpose of this program is to offer our students an opportunity to explore new avenues in art, music, sciences, sports, or languages on a short-term basis with a goal for your child to develop new skills, interests, and talents.  This program is offered each Fall and Spring, with 6-week sessions.  Our Spring session kicked off last week with lots of learning, giggles, and fun!  Students were invited to explore science experiences, create delicious culinary creations, paint, use problem solving through a STEM approach to learning, as well as enter into a Jedi Academy. Our students and staff look forward to this program each semester.  Stay tuned for updates and pictures of the program throughout the Spring. Students enjoyed creating veggie nachos in Mrs. Shumate's little chef class!
