Just this week, to revisit some math skills not mastered in a fun way, Students were each given a balloon to inflate. Instead of using a whiteboard to complete problems/equations, students wrote them on the balloons. After completing a problem, each student would toss the balloon in the air, and catch one. The students would check the work done on the problem, and then work on another problem provided by the teacher. This continued until the balloons were full of equations.
We applaud Mrs. Maher for using creative measures to keep her students engaged and actively learning! Kudos!
