Families Dig in the Dirt During Beautification Day

Saturday, November 3, 2018 was a great day at our school!  Working with Nick’s Lawn and Landscaping, WCES families, teachers, Boy Scout Troop 46 and Cub Scout Pack 46 came together to plant new flowers and bushes, trim old bushes, pull weeds, and pick up litter at the school for a welcoming, beautiful environment.

Cub Scout Pack 46 planted a Thundercloud Purple Leaf Plum tree near the car rider line for all to enjoy. But we did not stop there! You can once again see the blue Wesley Chapel Elementary letters on the building. Two beautiful magnolia trees accent our sign with all new bushes under. Everyone worked hard to refresh all planter pots and add perennials near the flag pole area.

Next time you drive by the school please notice the fantastic new flowerbed around the roadside marquee sign. Nick’s Lawn and Landscape designed and installed all new bushes and flowers to show off our school sign.

Thank you to Nick’s team for participating in our Beautification Day!
