Mr. Michael's students use Music editing software

Over the last few weeks in music class fifth graders have been learning how to use music editing software. This software is used to create many of the songs that we hear on the radio. As one student announced in class “Katy Perry better watch out for us!” Students were tasked with the responsibility of creating their own song in Rondo form (ABACA). They learned how to edit premade clips, create their own sound clips, and to make filtered settings of audio intensity and panning abilities. We have also discussed the job opportunities that are available with being able to use this software in the music engineering field.
