Back to School Message- August 12, 2020
Our staff is distributing pre-ordered school supplies and pre-purchased yearbooks on Wednesday, August 12. Our building is open until 4:00pm. Simply pull into the bus lot, remain in your car and our staff will come to you. I originally communicated that we would not distribute this items on Thursday and Friday, however we will continue to distribute these items on Thursday and Friday from 8:00am - 4:00pm. Any unclaimed items will be sent to the classroom. You will need to communicate with your child's teacher about picking up these items after Friday, August 14, 2020.
Parents of Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth Grade students may pick up Chromebooks on Thursday (2nd -3rd) and Friday (4th-5th) from 8:00am - 4:00pm. Parents must complete the Chromebook/COPPA Form prior to receiving the device. These forms are available here in English and in Spanish. These forms are also available to print from the Antioch Elementary Website. Print versions will be available at the school on August 13th and 14th.
Another parent may pick up your child's device if you are out of town. The form must be completed prior to device pick up. Anyone who is unable to collect their device this week, may pick up on August 17th after 9:00am.
Parents should complete this form ONLY if you are NOT planning to send your child to school for the one day of "face to face" learning. This DOES NOT APPLY to families in grades 2nd-5th that chose Plan "D". This information will help our teachers plan.
Our school received boarding passes today which does not provide enough time for those to be delivered to parents via U.S. Mail. Parents who have questions about UCPS transportation should visit the transportation website. Parents are strongly encouraged to download the HERE COMES THE BUS APP. This will provide you with information about the school bus. Parents may email email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org if you are unable to access the app or if you have additional questions.
All questions regarding the AIG program for 4th and 5th grade students should be directed to Mrs. Schilling (email@example.com) or Mrs. Sarcona (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Parents may contact me if you have NOT heard from your child's teacher. I am happy to help.
I hope you have a great day!
