In Mr. Tegard’s classroom this year the students played Simon Says with different geometric shapes and different angles. The students used their arms and bodies to make symbols that represented the different math skills. At first the student practice by following along with Mr. Tegard while he modeled the movements. Then after a couple of rounds with Mr. Tegard modeling the movements the students played on their own. The next time that Mr. Tegard's class played Geometric Simon Says all of the students closed their eyes while playing so that they had to make the symbols from memory.
In this picture the students are showing the sign for a right angle.
