Strings II Class performed at the “Old Hargett Store” near Marshville

On Friday evening May 24, our Strings II Class performed at the “Old Hargett Store” near Marshville.  On Friday evening May 24, our Strings II Class performed at the “Old Hargett Store” near Marshville. The venue has been revitalized as a performance area and is used for other community events.

The show included many of Mr. Greene’s (Strings instructor at BHEAS) students who were showcased on various instruments. “This was a great chance for our strings II group to play in Marshville. It was a rich experience to see so many stringed instruments played by students their age or younger. They saw mandolins, banjo’s, guitar, piano and violins all in one performance” said Mr. Casstevens, Arts Coordinator at BHESA.  He accompanied the Strings II group on the piano.

Our strings program has had over 30 students this year and they look forward to a great year beginning in September.  Strings classes are open for 2nd – 5th graders at BHESA!
