Hello Parents,

This is Tom Childers contacting you from Antioch Elementary. Our fall book fair is underway. On Friday evening, our media center hosted dozens of families as they browsed the book fair. This week our students will get an opportunity to go as a class and parents are invited to participate in Browse 4books Before School on Tuesday and Wednesday morning. You may  Click here for full details regarding the fall book fair.

Students will be dismissed at 11:00am on Wednesday. UCPS schedules early release days three times per year to provide time for our staff to engage in professional development activities. Students may be picked up according to the following schedule:

10:50am - Kindergarten and First Grade ONLY (Main Car Rider Line)

11:00am - Kindergarten, First, Second and Third Grade (Main Car Rider Line)

11:10am - Fourth and Fifth Grade as well as their siblings (Bus Lot)

All students are encouraged to participate in the  North Carolina Forestry Essay Contest. Click here for details.

Thank you for the tremendous support shown during the PTO Gatorthon Fundraiser. With your support, our PTO surpassed the goal of $30,000! Full details of winning classes are forthcoming. Pucker up Ms. Piggy!
