UCVirtual Student of the Six Weeks 2/6/2020

Phillip Robinson

Union County Virtual is proud to have the honor to announce that Phillip Robinson is the #VirtuallyAwesome Student of the Six Weeks!  Phillip is currently a senior at Sun Valley High School and will be graduating this June. He was nominated by his Business Law teacher Ms. Kelley Gates.

Union County Virtual offers online classes to Union County Public Schools students.  UCVirtual courses were all designed, built, and taught by Union County Public Schools staff.  We have students at all the high schools and at some middle schools.

“Phillip is one of the most clever students I've ever taught. Not only is he incredibly funny, but he has an amazing grasp of concepts. When discussing topics, he goes into depth showing more than a cursory understanding, but a strong connection to the material. His work was a true delight to grade because he added humor into his work in addition to outlining his mastery of the topic. He always completed his work on time and with a flourish!”  His teacher, Ms. Gates, had nothing but kind things to say about Phillip.

Phillip was presented with a certificate and a #VirtuallyAwesome t-shirt in front of his peers in the E-Learning Lab at Sun Valley High School on February 6th, 2020.  There to help celebrate his achievements were Mrs. Black, his Lab Facilitator, Kelley Gates, his instructor, and Nichole Jackson, his Guidance Counselor.  You are #VirtuallyAwesome Phillip! We are so proud of you for being the UCVirtual Student of the Six Weeks!
