  • Heart for Haiti
    We are raising funds for HERO Academy in Haiti to rebuild the home of orphans, Gary and Jude. The cost to rebuild is between $3000 and $5000. Any additional funds will go towards the academy to assist in education, and room and board of students at HERO Academy.   • Rising 9th Grade Parent Night at Porter Ridge High School
    Porter Ridge High School is hosting a parent night for rising 9th grade students on March 7th from 6:30-7:30. It will be held in the PRHS auditorium. Any questions please see Mrs. Conway. Thank you!

  • CATA Information Night
    Applications for Central Academy of Technology and Arts are now available. Any 8th grade students who are interested should apply on the CATA website. There is also an information night being held at CATA on February 23rd from 6:30-8:00. CATA is located at 600 Brewer Dr, Monroe, NC 28112. The application window closes on May 1st.  Any questions please contact Mrs. Conway, PRMS 8th grade school counselor.

  • Porter Ridge Cluster International Festival
    This year's festival will be held at Poplin Elementary on April 20, from 5:00-6:30
    We need your help!  Be a sponsor!
    We are looking for great sponsors/food vendors to help with our International Festival by donating items, setting up cultural booths or displays, or lending any materials that may be useful to this event.  We welcome all donations.

  • Math 24 Club
    Any student interested in participating in Math 24, please see Ms. Gollmer in room F107.  Practices will also be on Wednesdays until 4:30PM.  Please make sure your ride is here on time.

  • Mini-Clubs
    PRMS mini-clubs have begun! Mini-clubs allow students to engage in rigorous and interesting clubs that support academic, behavioral, and emotional growth. Some examples of clubs are origami, peer tutoring, yoga, tessellations, computer coding, poetry slam, and improvisational theater. Parents are encouraged to speak with your child regarding the club he or she is participating in the next six weeks.
