EOG Proctors Needed
We need community support to have a smooth testing window for students this Spring. Please use the below link to register if you can help. Please call Tiffany Mitchell-Chaney at (704) 225-7555 with any questions.
Testing and Dismissals
We will begin our annual state testing on Thursday, May 26 and complete it Friday, June 3. During our three most comprehensive testing days of May 26, June 1, and June 2, we will not be able to early release students until testing is completed, which will be approximately 2:15. To ensure your child’s testing success, we ask that all students arrive on time, rested, and focused. If you have any specific questions about our school’s testing, please contact me at our school’s number of 704 225-7555.
8th Grade Promotion Reception
The 8th grade promotion reception is scheduled for Thursday, June 9 between 9-11 a.m. Unlike a traditional graduation ceremony, this is an informal, drop-in event. All teams will be located in the gym. Cake and refreshments will be served.
At the promotion reception, students will receive important paperwork including their final report card. In order to receive this information, students must not owe any school based fees.
Parents may check out students early through homeroom teachers. Students checking out with a friend’s parent must submit written notification by June 8th at 12 pm to the front office. Students without a note will not be allowed to leave with anyone except an approved person on file with the school. Please make sure to bring a photo id to check the student out.
If you have any questions about the promotion reception or awards ceremony, please contact Dr. Patience at 704-225-7555. Thank you.
**All ceremonies are by invitation only**
