8th Grade Promotion Reception
The 8th grade promotion reception is scheduled for Friday, June 8 between 9-11 a.m. This is an informal, drop-in event. Students should arrive to school at the usual time. All teams will be located in the gym. Cake and refreshments will be served.
At the promotion reception, students will receive important paperwork including their final report card. In order to receive this information, students must not owe any school based fees. Cross Country Interest Meeting
There will be a middle school cross country interest meeting on Tuesday, May 22nd at 6:00 pm. The meeting will take place at Porter Ridge Middle in the pit. Any student attending Porter Ridge Middle in the fall is eligible. For more information contact Coach Schallenkamp at email@example.com

Early Dismissal Procedures
If a student plans to leave school before the end of the day, he/she must bring a note from home requesting early dismissal. The adult who plans to pick up the student must sign him/her out in the office by 3:15 pm and be prepared to show valid picture identification..ie driver's license or passport. Also, please allow yourself enough travel time to be inside the office by 3:15.
Students at PRMS competed against other middle schools in various STEM categories, including robotics, catapult, bridge building and new this year, glider and computer coding.
