  • EOG Proctors Needed May 30 and May 31

    We are in need of proctors for our statewide End of Grade (EOG) Assessments. Volunteers are critical in making sure that every child has the most optimal testing environment during these important statewide exams. We appreciate all you do to support our students and our school and we hope you will consider volunteering.

  • 8th Grade Promotion Reception
    The 8th grade promotion reception is scheduled for Friday, June 8 between 9-11 a.m. This is an informal, drop-in event. Students should arrive to school at the usual time. All teams will be located in the gym. Cake and refreshments will be served.

    At the promotion reception, students will receive important paperwork including their final report card. In order to receive this information, students must not owe any school based fees.  If you have any questions about the promotion reception or awards ceremony, please contact Dr. Patience at 704-225-7555.

  • Introducing Naviance Family Connection!
    Union County Public Schools is proud to be partnering with Naviance to provide a variety of tools for your student to use in planning for high school, college, careers and beyond!  Naviance can be used to plan courses for high school, explore different careers according to individual assessment results, develop goals for the future, and manage the college applications process. 

    Learn more by accessing Family Connection to encourage and guide your student in making plans for the future.  Simply stop by our front office and request your access code to register for your Naviance Family Connection Account.   • Early Dismissal Procedures
    If a student plans to leave school before the end of the day, he/she must bring a note from home requesting early dismissal. The adult who plans to pick up the student must sign him/her out in the office by 3:15 pm and be prepared to show valid picture driver's license or passport. Also, please allow yourself enough travel time to be inside the office by 3:15.
