  • UCPS launches new community newsletter

    Union County Public Schools (UCPS) announced the launch of UCPS Snapshots, an e-newsletter that will provide community members with timely information about district programs and the great work that staff and students are doing in the school district’s 53 schools.

    Subscribers will also learn about literacy initiatives, resources for college and career readiness, the district’s new strategic plan as well as ways community members can volunteer and get involved in our schools.

  • EUMS receives flags from the state capitol

    EUMS Band Director, Avery McFadden and Flag Patrol Leader, William Harris performed “Reveille” and “To the Colors” on trumpets Thursday morning, November 16 for NC Representative Mark Brody. Mr. Brody provided a US & NC flag that was flown over the capitol in Raleigh and presented them to Mr. Sanders and the flag patrol to fly for EUMS.
