  • College Fair

The Academic Booster Club of Marvin Ridge High School's PTSO is hosting its annual College Fair for our students and parents on March 28 from 6 to 8:30 pm. Many universities, colleges, community colleges, and military academies will be in attendance. Families will have the opportunity to attend a panel discussion with college admissions experts, followed by a college fair where they will meet and receive information from the college representatives in attendance. This event is open to all grade levels and is designed to help our students start planning for their future.

  • Learning Plan for Quarantined Students

This plan will use a tiered approach by all UCPS schools including Marvin Ridge High School.

Tier I: Please understand that your student’s teacher will serve as the primary resource for academic support. In an effort to continue to provide all students with access to instructional resources we will rely on the use of Canvas as our students’ learning management system..  Please understand that your student’s teacher may not be able to respond to questions immediately if they occur during the instructional day.  However, he/she will follow up with students daily, as his/her schedule permits, in order to support your student’s learning.

Tier II: We are currently working on a plan to provide students with additional support outside of school hours. This would involve a Marvin Ridge teacher that is not the teacher of record. We will share additional details of how and when this support will occur.

Tier III - UCPS will provide district tutors that can be utilized per parent request. At this time, tier 3 is currently unavailable. More information regarding Tier 3 support will be forthcoming.
