About Ms. Thomas

Ms. Thomas has been the principal of Rock Rest Elementary for 14 years.  She loves the opportunity to work with a diverse group of children who have unlimited potential.  She has a Bachelor's degree as well as a Master's Degree.  She greatly values the outstanding teachers, students, and families of Rock Rest.

About Ms. Rodden

Ms. Rodden is the Assistant Principal at Rock Rest Elementary. She is in her 14th year as a school administrator and loves working with students, teachers, and parents. Ms. Rodden obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Psychology from Western Carolina University in 2001. She obtained her Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Wingate University in 2010. Prior to becoming an administrator, Ms. Rodden taught sixth-grade math for two years before obtaining her license in special education. She then taught Special Education for 8 years at both the middle school and elementary school levels. Ms. Rodden lives in Union County with her husband and two daughters.
