Catherine Perry (Principal)
About Mrs. Perry
Catherine Perry was named principal of Cuthbertson Middle School at the June 2022 Board of Education meeting.
Mrs. Perry was born and grew up in central New Jersey, just minutes north of Princeton. She is a graduate of Saint Peter's College in Jersey City, New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Elementary Education. She attended college on a full athletic softball scholarship, which allowed her to travel throughout the United States competing at the Division I level. Later, she completed a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Kean University in Union, New Jersey.
Mrs. Perry has taught several grades, at both the elementary and middle school levels, throughout her time in the classroom. When New Town Elementary opened its doors in August 2007, she was a teaching member of the fifth-grade team. Later that school year, she joined the school's administration as an assistant principal. Before the start of the 2013-2014 school year, she was named the school’s principal.
Mrs. Perry lives in the New Town community with her husband, Michael, and their two young sons, Jayden and Jaxson.

Molly Russell (6th Grade Assistant Principal)
About Mrs. Russell
Molly Russell was born and raised on Long Island, New York. She is a graduate of the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania with her Bachelor of Science in Counseling and Human Services. Ms. Russell then earned her Master of Science degree from Long Island University in School Counseling. She recently graduated from the University of North Carolina of Charlotte with a master’s degree in School Administration through the NC Principal Fellowship Program.
Mrs. Russell has been a school counselor for many years for UCPS. As a school counselor, Mrs. Russell served in several leadership roles. She was an integral part of the start-up and implementation of a peer mentoring program called Peer Group Connection. Additionally, Ms. Russell served on the school leadership team, UCPS School Counselor Advisory Counsel, and worked closely with the middle and high school administration to create a mentorship program for 8th-grade students transitioning to high school. Mrs. Russell strives to build meaningful relationships with teachers and staff, support students, and encourage innovative ideas. Her vision is to inspire others to grow while striving for excellence.
Mrs. Russell enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and enjoys outdoor activities. She lives in Union County with her husband, Pete, and three children; Peter, Charlie, and Caroline.

Jennifer Siddall (7th Grade Assistant Principal)
About Mrs. Siddall
Jennifer Siddall was born and raised in Upstate New York. In 2002, she graduated from The State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology. She also earned her Master of Education degree from the same university. In January 2020, she obtained her school administration license from Appalachian State.
Between 2004 and 2024, Mrs. Siddall held various roles in Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools, including teacher, academic facilitator, MTSS Academic Coach, Dean, and Assistant Principal.
She is thrilled to have recently joined UCPS and is dedicated to providing all students with the appropriate learning conditions for success and ensuring an equitable and challenging education for everyone. Mrs. Siddall also focuses on building meaningful relationships with both staff and students and embraces transformational leadership, motivating others to innovate and enhance the learning environment.
Outside of work, Mrs. Siddall enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, pets, and family and friends. Her hobbies include playing tennis, hiking, learning French, and traveling.

Danielle Nadata (8th Grade Assistant Principal)
About Mrs. Nadata
Danielle Nadata has been in the field of education since she moved here from New York State in 2008, to pursue her passion for education. She received her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Iona College in New York in 2004. She received her Master's Certification in School Administration in May 2022. Before changing her career to education, she worked for an electronics company in New Jersey.
Mrs. Nadata has been an ELA teacher at Sun Valley Middle School since 2008. She taught 6th grade ELA for 12 years, and 7th grade ELA for two years. She enjoys building relationships with her students and encouraging them to excel in all areas of their lives. During her time at SVMS, she served in many leadership roles, such as PBIS coordinator for the school, team leader, grade level chairperson, Leadership Team member, and event planner.
Mrs. Nadata lives in Indian Trail with her husband and two children.
Mrs. Nadata is excited about beginning her career in administration at Cuthbertson Middle School as the 7th grade Assistant Principal! She looks forward to spending the day with the teachers and students engaging in conversation.
