East Union Middle School Dress Code Guidelines

• There are no blankets allowed in school. 

• Clothing with inappropriate messages or images in content or location is not allowed.

  • Specifically, profane words, drug and alcohol advertising, sexual content/innuendo, or other unacceptable graphics are prohibited.

  • No gang-related clothing, jewelry, bandanas, or other paraphernalia.

• No sunglasses, except in outside PE classes. 

• No undergarments should be visible, and no shear clothing.

• No tight, form-fitting clothing such as onesies, jumpsuits, or one-piece bodysuits, stretch/spandex dresses, tights, etc.

• No hats or bonnets but headbands are OK. 

• No bandanas or clothing containing bandanas. 

TOPS

• No shirts that show cleavage, exposed stomachs, or bare backs.

• No crop tops, midriff shirts, etc.

• No tank tops or sleeveless shirts or dresses. Shirt shoulders must be three-finger width or larger.

• You can wear hoodies but hoods are not allowed on your head while on school grounds.

BOTTOMS

• Shorts, skirts, dresses, etc. must be fingertip length or longer. 

• No holes in pants, jeans, shorts, etc. above the knee that show skin.

• No see-through leggings or biker shorts.

  • If you wear leggings or biker shorts your top has to cover your bottom completely.

• Sleepwear/pajama pants are not allowed.

SHOES

• Students must wear closed-toed shoes with shoe backs at all times.

• No flip-flops, slides, or crocs.
