About Our School
-
Marvin Elementary serves kindergarten to fifth-grade students and is located in Marvin. We are a school with a strong collaborative team of parents, students and staff. Our school community provides our students with the most meaningful, rewarding, and positive educational experience possible.
Marvin Elementary opened in the Fall of 2002. We serve approximately 754 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. We received a School Performance Grade of A in 2023, which is the highest distinction that the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction bestows upon schools in our state.
Our school has a 94% student attendance rate, 100% of our teachers are fully licensed and highly qualified, and 30% have advanced degrees. While these numbers say a great deal about our school and our student performance, the experiences and perspectives of our students and parents are even more important.
