• We Need You

We quite frequently hear Marvin Ridge parents saying, “Let me know if I can help in any way at the school.” Now is the time when we need you and will take you up on that offer, folks! We are in need of volunteer proctors and hall monitors for end of year testing.

We really need you to do this! If you can commit to just one morning…great! If you can commit to multiple mornings…even better! The bottom line is that this is an “all hands on deck” need. We thank you in advance for signing up for at least one of the many necessary volunteer slots. You’ll find the details of testing and sign-up below. Please contact MRMS assistant principal and testing coordinator, Mrs. Marni Menkin (, with any questions.

  • Building An Outdoor Classroom, The Butterfly Project!

We are looking for sponsors to help us reach our goal for Phase 2!  Our goal is to raise $15,000 to pay and install our steel frame butterfly.  Bob Doster, our artist, has hand designed a unique butterfly memorial just for us.  The very same artist that created the globe for the high school students at the main entrance.  Once we have our funds, the memorial will be installed, the butterflies riveted on and the reminder for acceptance of all will stand.

Phase 2 is a large steel butterfly that will be placed on a concrete pad in the grassy area in front of our school.  Each year the students will now paint a metal butterfly that will be adhered to this monument. This will be our own memorial that will grow each year showing our commitment to tolerance and acceptance of all.  Click here to learn more!
