    • Tomorrow, 2/20/2025 is a Remote Learning Day. 

      Your child’s teacher has provided a set of assignments for your student to work on tomorrow for our remote learning day.  Please check your email and your child’s communications folder for further directions from your child’s teacher. Learning is asynchronous; no computer login is required. Contact your child’s teacher via email if you have further questions.

    • PTO Membership: Our PTO supports the educational needs of students and is an important link between the parents and staff at WDES. Last year, the PTO was able to contribute almost $40k to purchase iPads, class shirts, agendas, communication folders, canvas book bags, and art notebooks for each student, provided a $200 grant to each teacher to purchase classroom needs, as well as host 8 community events providing opportunities for families to get together and have fun! Membership is only $20 per family and can be purchased online at www.weddingtonpto.com.

    • NEW Bus Riders Information: If your student is a new bus rider, please contact Mrs. Shannon Nelson at shannon.nelson@ucps.k12.nc.us  and provide her with your child’s full name, grade level, and AM and/or PM request.
