My name is Sandie Brown. I’m a K-8 certified teacher with over a decade of experience in education. I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, and received a Masters in Curriculum and Design at George Mason University. Before coming to North Carolina, I taught in Virginia and Missouri, and taught English in Romania.  I love reading and am passionate about inspiring all students to enjoy it as much as I do.  Outside of work, I enjoy a good cup of coffee surrounded by my cats and birds. I also enjoy gardening and spending time with my family.
