MONROE MIDDLE SCHOOL COMMUNITY ELIGIBILITY PROGRAM
We are pleased to inform you that the Monroe Middle School will be implementing the Community Eligibility Program for the 2017-2018 school year, a new option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs for the 2017-2018.
What does this mean for you and your children attending Monroe Middle School? All students enrolled in this particular school are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2017-2018 school year.
No further action is required of you. Your children will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a meal application.
However, if your student transfers out of this school into a non-CEP school, you must complete an application on order for your children to be considered for free or reduced meals at his/her new school. Siblings who are not enrolled in this school must have an application completed for them in order to be considered for free or reduced meals at their age.
If you need further assistance please contact child nutrition at 704-296-3000.
Please remember that attendance is directly related to student achievement. We need every student at school each day in an effort to help students reach their full potential.
