Union County Public Schools honored its January and February influencers at the Feb. 6 Board of Education meeting.

The Influencers program honors the enthusiasm, commitment and outstanding work ethic of UCPS staff members who consistently put in extra effort each day.

This recognition is special because it results from nominations from our staff, students, families and community members. These people see firsthand the positive impact these employees have on students and their peers.

The honorees for January are Jennifer Robertson, a school psychologist at Wesley Chapel Elementary and Eliza Cranfill, an Exceptional Children’s job coach from Monroe High who also manages the Coffee Nut, a café where Transition to Adulthood students receive real-world experiences.

The honorees for February are Alan Sturdivant, a teacher, assistant coach for girls’ basketball and band director at Monroe High and Keshena Chambers, a district lead custodian with Custodial Services. Chambers was unable to attend due to a family engagement and will be officially recognized in March.

The employees were celebrated for exemplifying the performance, dedication and teamwork essential to the district's and its students' success. They received a certificate, a UCPS Influencers shirt and an Amazon gift card.
