• There are several programs in place to support families who may be going though a difficult time. The counselor uses discretion and anonymity when supporting families. Names and information are not released without the consent of parents. 
     
    Backpack Program
     
    The Backpack is an anonymous food program designed to help children and families that may run out of food on the weekends. Each Friday, participants receive a grocery bag with non- perishable items to help make it through the weekend. The food is donated by local churches.
     
     Christmas Assistance 
     
    Christmas Bureau- The counselor can refer families to the Christmas Bureau for clothing, food, and gifts.  Please contact the counselor for more information and to complete the easy referral process.  
     
    Antique Tractor Club of Monroe- For the past two years the club has donated money to buy students coats, jeans, and shoes required in the Winter months. The counselor arranges the anonymous purchase and the delivery of the items needed.
     
    Local Churches also support families with specific hardship. Contact the counselor for more information.
