• Students in grades 3-5 are invited to participate in after-school clubs . Teachers volunteer to sponsor clubs of interest to students. The goal is learning and fun! Students can interact socially while they engage in organized activities in a safe and positive atmosphere. Parents must provide transportation if students choose to stay after school to be in a club.

    Club Guidelines

To maintain quality programs, the following guidelines must be accepted upon gaining membership in all clubs.

    1. Attendance at all meetings is mandatory (except for sickness). Each student will be allowed to miss two club meetings each semester. The third absence will result in the student’s removal from the club. Homework Hall will be counted as absences no matter when they are served.
    2. Students will be dismissed like car riders. Students need to have their numbers memorized and listen carefully, as the numbers are called. Please take time to practice this with them so that dismissal can run smoothly. Also, for the safety of our students and staff, please stay in the car-rider line to pick up your students. Students must be picked up from each meeting on time. THREE LATE PICKUPS WILL END THE STUDENT’S MEMBERSHIP.
    3. Students are expected to follow all club rules and behavior expectations. Failure to follow will result in dismissal from that club. One written warning will be sent home for parents' signature. The club sponsor will be informed of inappropriate behavior in the classroom and the student will be dismissed from the club.
    4. Failure to meet academic expectations in the classroom will result in dismissal from a club.
