Dear Parkwood High School Community,
As we move forward in the school year, I would like to take a moment to highlight the significance of the School Report Card and how it plays an essential role in our shared commitment to student success. The School Report Card is more than just a summary of numbers and data—it is a vital tool that provides a clear picture of our school’s performance. It includes critical insights into academic achievement, graduation rates, student growth, and other key metrics that reflect how well we are meeting our goals. Understanding these areas allows us to celebrate our successes, but more importantly, it helps us identify opportunities for improvement.
At Parkwood High School, we are deeply committed to fostering a learning environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive. The report card offers valuable information that helps our teachers, staff, and leadership team make informed decisions to enhance our programs and address any gaps in student performance. It also serves as a reflection of the hard work of our students, parents, and educators, who continually strive to achieve excellence.
I encourage you to review the School Report Card once it is released and use it as a conversation starter with your child and their teachers. By working together, we can ensure that each student is supported, challenged, and equipped with the tools they need to succeed both academically and personally.
Thank you for allowing me to share this Report Card with you and thank you for partnering with us to provide your child with a high-quality education. Our focus at Parkwood High School is continuous improvement for all students. Thank you for your continued support of our school and students.
Sincerely,
Tracy Strickland, Ed.D.
Principal, Parkwood High School
