Laura Gaddy (Principal)
About Mrs. Gaddy
Mrs. Gaddy received her undergraduate degree in Physical Education, Exercise, and Sports Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also received her Master's Degree in Middle Grades Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her Master's Level Certification in School Administration from Wingate University.
Mrs. Gaddy was born and raised in Mebane, North Carolina. Mrs. Gaddy and her husband are the proud parents of twins and they reside in Matthews. In her spare time, Mrs. Gaddy enjoys reading, exercising and spending time with friends and family. Mrs. Gaddy is a huge sports fan and she loves following the UNC Tarheels, Wake Forest Demon Deacons, Charlotte Hornets, Charlotte FC, Atlanta Braves, and the Carolina Panthers!
Before coming to Union County, Mrs. Gaddy taught 6th grade for one year in Elon College, North Carolina and 8th grade for nine years in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System. She served as an Assistant Principal at Shiloh Elementary for one year before coming to Stallings Elementary as the Assistant Principal in 2008. In 2012, Mrs. Gaddy became the Principal of Stallings Elementary.
Mrs. Gaddy loves working with the students, parents, and staff members at Stallings Elementary and she is looking forward to another successful year!

Harvey Bagshaw (Assistant Principal)
About Mr. Bagshaw
Mr. Bagshaw received his undergraduate degree in Elementary Education (K-6) and a Birth-Kindergarten license from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He has taught all grades from Pre-K through 5th. He has also received his National Board Certification. Mr. Bagshaw returned to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte to earn his Master's Degree in School Administration.
Mr. Bagshaw was born and raised in Mattituck, a small town on Long Island, New York. He moved to Charlotte after graduation and spent several years working in some of the inner-city schools in CMS. He eventually made his way out to Union County where he worked at Antioch the first year it opened and then transferred here to Stallings Elementary to help the school open in 2008. Mr. Bagshaw now resides in Indian Trail where he enjoys being part of the community.
Mr. Bagshaw enjoys science! He has presented across the U.S at many NSTA conferences and has even presented in London. His favorite place to visit is New Zealand where he spent a month volunteering (and learning!) at Kohia Terrace School in Auckland.
Outside of his career, one of his biggest accomplishments was restoring a 1971 Super Beetle Convertible. You can also find Mr. Bagshaw singing and rapping on Youtube for the Stallings family!
