  • Hanover Research Survey - Naviance

    Union County Public Schools has collaborated with Hanover Research to evaluate the use of the Naviance application at our middle and high schools. The survey launced on January 7, 2020 and is scheduled to close on January 21, 2020. Please take a moment to complete the survey and provide us with your feedback.

  • Massachusetts Institute of Technology Engineering Guest Speakers

    Parkwood ladies, are you interested in learning how hands on projects that often are connected to math and science can relate to real world careers? Parkwood has the privilege of hosting two Massachusetts Institute of Technology Engineering students to speak to young ladies on Wednesday, January 29th from 12-3 pm. Come hear them speak, and participate in fun activities as well as learn how they relate to today’s STEM job market. All grade levels are eligible to participate.   • Class/Club/Sports Information 

    Gaming Club will resume on January 31st, after the start of the new semester. 

    Any girls interested in playing soccer this spring, please sign up on the sheets located on Coach Richar's office in the new gym back hallway. 

    There will be a Full Council Student Council meeting on Tuesday, February 4th at 7:45 am in Mosley's room (502.) Please make sure to attend so you are up to date on Sadie Hawkins plans!

    There will be a boy's tennis interest meeting this Thursday (January 23rd) immediately after school in the main gym. If you are unable to attend please see Coach Erdelyi. 

    Chorus rental attire should be returned to room 125 if you are not taking chorus second semester. Please wash your dress before returning it. Failing to return your attire or returning it with damage will result in fees on your student account.

    There will be an interest meeting for all 9th and 10 graders wanting to play Men’s Lacrosse here at Parkwood, Thursday evening (January 23) at 6:30pm in the cafeteria.  

    Love to sing? Join Ladies’ Chorus this semester. There is no audition to be in the class and it is offered 3rd block. You would request Ladies’ Chorus I unless you have taken a chorus course in high school before. 

    Football Strength and Conditioning will start Monday, January 27, after school. Workouts will be Monday through Thursday 3:30-5:00.

  • College Readiness Resource Center

    Union County Public Schools is parterning with the Union County Public Library to offer a College Readiness Resource Center which is open to all UCPS students, grades 8-12. Appointments can be made or sessions can be attended at the public library.

  • Student Help Desk Hours

    Mr. Gaither, our computer technician, is available for Help Desk hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. His office is located in the media center. Students may come by before or after school for support and also during lunch, if they have a pass. Students may get a pass from the front office during lunch.

    Students may also fill out the Chromebook Assistance Form found on the main school website, but service is typically faster if they come during open Help Desk hours.
