  • Track Accomplishments

    Congratulations to the men’s and women’s track teams who were victorious in their first meet of the season. The men scored 101 points. Sun Valley was second with 48 points. The women scored 56.5 over second-place Anson with 50 points.

    Special Congratulations to Andres Alejandro, who ran the fastest time in the State in the 500-meter, setting a new school record and qualifying for the State Championships.

    Other School Record Setters Include:

    • Marcus Hesske in the Pole Vault
    • Trista Taylor in the 300-Meter Dash
    • Olivia Elgin in the Triple Jump

    5 Rebels met the state qualifying standards.  They include:

    • Netanya Linares for the Long Jump and 55-Meter Hurdles
    • Zach Barksdale for the Long Jump, Triple Jump and 55-Meter Hurdles
    • Andrew Alejandro for the 500-Meter
    • Tyler Lewis for the Triple Jump
    • Kenan Waltower for the 55-Meter Hurdles

    The ASVAB will be given to any 10-12th grade students on November 30th for free. This test is a great tool for students exploring career options. To register for the ASVAB, click HERE.  ASVAB test prep can be found here

  • Parkwood FFA Poinsettia Sale

    Parkwood FFA Poinsettia Sale runs until November 22nd, 2017. They will be delivered on November 29th, 2017. Questions on pricing and to order please see Mrs. Hill Room 303 or email her at

  • Class Rings

    Jostens will meet with Sophomores on Monday November 27th in the Auditorium during 1st block. They will return on Friday, December 1st during lunches to take class ring orders.

  • Clean Energy 1 Honors Class

    We have had another section of Clean Energy 1 Honors open up in the spring. If you are interested in taking this course or would like more information about it, please come see Ms. Bartell in guidance.

  • Attendance Recovery

    Attendance Recovery hours will be offered on the following dates from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the Cafeteria: December 6-7, and 11-14.

  • Free In-School College Board Assessments

    Union County Public Schools will offer FREE in-school College Board assessments during the 2017-2018 school year. The PSAT 8, PSAT/NMSQT and SAT will be administered at no charge to students according to the schedule found here.
