If you would like to sign up for the September Driver's ED class now is the time! The final exam is September 27th and the retake exam is October 3rd. You cannot test on the 3rd unless you have already taken the final exam. Both tests will be at 3:30pm, after school, in the media center. You must bring the correct paperwork completely filled out, otherwise you will NOT be permitted to test. If you would like to register go to the drivers ed link on the right side of the Parkwood High site.
There will be a meeting of the drama club on Thursday, August 29 after school in the auditorium for all students interested in our fall production of THE CRUCIBLE.
FCCLA will hold an interest meeting on September 3, 2019 in room 302. FCCLA is a national organization that promotes growth and leadership development in family and consumer science. Please see Mrs. Rivers or Mrs. Hoobler if you have any questions.

Freshman OrientationFreshman Orientation and new student orientation- August 22 from 9-11am.Students and parents are invited and will meet in the new gym for a brief presentation followed by breakout sessions. Breakout sessions consist of small group tours throughout Parkwood HS.Open HouseOpen House for all grades will be August 22 from 4-6pm. Drop by to tour the school and meet your teachers.
Laptops will be distributed at the following times. Please check back later for more details. Please print the forms online, fill them out and bring them when you pick your laptop up. Extra forms will be provided at the school.August 22: During Freshman and new student orientation as well as open houseStudents who do not receive their chromebooks during open house or freshman oreitnation will have the opportunity to receive them the first week of school. However, they cannot be given out if students do not have the Chromebook user agreement signed by both parent and student. Please print the form linked above and bring it to school during the first week to receive a chromebook.
AP Literature Summer Reading
Students who are taking AP Literature, in the fall, are required to read the following books:

2) Marie Borroff's SIR GAWAIN AND THE GREEN KNIGHT
