Milestones
- 1885 Union Institute was founded.
- 1886 Professor Oliver C. Hamilton was hired.
- 1890 Original building was expanded.
- 1910 School was sold to County Board of Education and renamed Unionville High School.
- 1917 Original building burned and was replaced with a two story wooden building.
- 1936 New, brick school building for Unionville High School was completed.
- 1949 Unionville Barbecue began.
- 1960 Unionville became an elementary school with 8 grades. Sixth through eighth later placed in middle school.
- 1985 Unionville celebrated its centennial.
- 1993 Current school building was completed.
- 2008 Completion of new traffic pattern drive and parent parking lot.
- 2011 Welcomed our first VIF teacher from England
- 2012 SPLASH (Spanish Immersion) Program began.
- 2014 Office Renovation - conference room
- 2015 Gym Renovation - new bleachers
- 2016 Media Center Renovation
- 2017 Added new outdoor classroom

- Odyssey of the Mind Teams: Competed and Received Honors at Regional Competition 1996-2008, 2010-2013. Odyssey of the Mind Teams qualified for World Finals 2005-2008 and 2010-2013. In our history, 26 teams have qualified at regionals for the state tournament. Since 2005, Unionville has had 15 teams to advance to World Finals. In 2012-2013, Unionville's "The Email Must Go Through" Team took First Place earning the honor of World Finals Champion.
