  • Monroe High teacher Jonathan Harbin named 2019-2020 UCPS Teacher of the Year

    On April 16, Monroe High teacher Jonathan Harbin was named the 2019-2020 UCPS Teacher of the Year. For winning the district title, Harbin received a one-year lease of a 2019 car, courtesy of Union County KIA, as well as $500 for his personal use. The Union County Education Foundation also awarded him $1,000.

  • Information for Driver Education Classes:  

    Students who receive free or reduced lunch wishing to sign up for the September Driver's Ed class must complete a registration form from the school. You must also attach the letter from Child Nutrition stating you receive Free or Reduced lunch.  You may pick up and return the form to the front office.

    Class – BEGINS October14, 2019 and ENDS October 30, 2019

    Face to Face – October 17, 2019 and October 28, 2019 from 3 – 5:00 in rm 111

    Final Test with eye test – November 7, 2019 from 3:00 – 5:00 IN ROOM 111

    Final Test NO eye test – November 12, 2019 from 3:00 – 5:00 IN ROOM 111

    NOVEMBER DRIVER ED CLASS

    Registration is Oct. 28 – Nov. 8

    Class begins Nov. 13 – Nov.29

    Face to Face Meetings Nov. 14 and 21 if you need help.

    Final TEST with eye exam Dec. 3

    Final Test NO eye exam Dec. 5
