  • Novant Health Competitive Edge sports screenings are free to all UCPS, rising 7th grade and above, student-athletes. The sports screening includes medical history review and cardiovascular screening, as well as general medical, musculoskeletal and vision exams. Information flyer

  • PWM 8th graders Explore OBX

    This month, over 150 8th grade students from Parkwood Middle School had the opportunity to experience the beauty and history of The Outer Banks of North Carolina. The trip started early on the morning of May 1st. Sleepy eyed teachers and students met at the school at 4:30 in the morning, ready to begin their adventure. It was the start of a four day trip that they would never forget.

  • Parkwood Middle School victorious at the Robotics Competition

    “On Saturday April 13th, Union County Career Readiness department hosted the spring robotics competition for over 60 middle and high school teams. Students spent the last year building and redesigning their VEX robots to get ready for the competition.
