During quarantine I did not like that I wasn’t able to see my friends but it did give me some time to think about what I really wanted to do in the future and have time to focus on myself. I want to travel the world to see different places and try many different foods.

My dream is to find what makes me happy. I look up to my parents, they are my biggest role models and I hope to make them proud someday. I don't think I have any superpowers, I'm just normal I guess.

My favorite hobbies are playing soccer and skating. I like these hobbies because they are good activities to do when you are bored. The most important people in my life are my family and my close friends because they will always have my back whenever.

When I graduated I decided that I needed a change so I accepted a job here in Charlotte at Discovery Place. Here I was able to teach everyone about the various animals we had and pretty much any science concept you can think of. Discovery Place was also where I met the amazing Monroe science department when they attended Science on the Rocks.

My dream would probably be to own a successful business or company. One person I look up to is Kobe Bryant. One reason I look up to Kobe is because he would outdo himself and strive to be a better person and was always uplifting. Rest In Peace Kobe.

I think my childhood had to be one of the best times in my life since I was such a playful, outgoing girl with no electronics! Certainly not like kids today.

I have always been involved in school stuff- art clubs, sport clubs and in 9th grade I got into volleyball and FFA. I helped sell plants and went to the fair with them. We even did a small zoo at school for the elementary schools. My favorite colors are blue and black and I like dinosaurs.

I am from Monroe, North Carolina. I have never really traveled outside of the state because I am afraid of heights but also because of the cost of it, I would love to travel to Guatemala where all my other family members live. Especially during a holiday because that's when it gets super fun!

Around 2005, [my wife] and I, along with a handful of other teachers were challenged to go to Monroe High School. It seemed like a fun dare, so off I went. Little did I know that I would fall in love with the community. I continue to be amazed by our students and our faculty.

After I graduate high school my plan is to attend college, I’m not quite sure where I want to go yet. I plan to major in biology and become an Obstetrician. A dream of mine would be to travel the world’s top places. ...I have many other dreams but having a family would be one of the top dreams.

... I’m also a HUGE K-pop fan and if you get to know me I am not shy at all! One of my favorite things to do is fishing. Fishing is something that helps me relax and get away from the world for a bit. I also dance, I’m in a ballet folklorico dance group called Cielito Lindo. We perform traditional Mexican dances.

My eldest brother, Daniel, is nearing 30 and instilled a passion for computers and technology in me. My second oldest brother, Jackson (23), is somehow the only one with kids already. I had very fond memories as a child. Playing with Legos, watching my brothers play video games, or just talking and socializing with friends.

The songs on my playlist are mostly from 1980-90s and early 2000s. That’s what I mainly listen to. There’s gonna be a lot of New Edition because that's me and my pops favorite group so the song might make me seem like an old head. The people I mainly look up to are my mom and pop. They have had a major impact on my life and the young man I have become.

I was born and raised in rural Indiana. For most of my life we lived on the farm where my mom grew up. We’ve had horses, goats, pigs, cows, chickens, ducks, and rabbits at some point over the last two decades. During high school I played golf and softball, was in band, flag corps, and student council. I pretty much lived at the school.

One of my favorite memories has to be when I met my older brother. He is my half brother, my dad's son. It felt so weird when we found out that we had an older brother because we never knew until our dad told us. But I was so excited and nervous to meet him and everything came out good and we are all now closer than ever.

I would say a personal superpower of mine is just trying to bring a good time to others. One thing I would like my classmates to know about me is that I can be friendly and loud when I'm comfortable with people I know but if I don't know you then I'm completely the opposite.

There are many people who inspire me but I have to say that my parents have been very influential. My parents came to the US without anything or anyone. They came at a very young age to look for a better future for them and their family. They were not familiar with the language and still managed to get a job and work very hard and become successful. ...They inspire me because I can see that no one or nothing can stop you from making your dreams come true and becoming successful.
