Marvin Ridge Band Boosters Mission Statement

The Marvin Ridge Band Booster organization (MRBB) is an advocate in everything that relates to the band programs of the Marvin Ridge High School and Middle School. At its core responsibility, the booster organization cooperates with the school and its band directors to support the improvement of music education. The Marvin Ridge Band Booster Board and its membership strive to foster a close working relationship between students, parents, school, community and the band directors. The organization is also an integral part of raising funds in order to provide financial support to the band programs of Marvin Ridge from managing the band budget and everything else that comes with running a small business that we call The Bands of Marvin Ridge. The Booster Organization also provides encouragement, guidance, emotional support, role modeling and opportunities for positive interaction among parents, teachers and administrators. The band programs of Marvin Ridge are life changing to our students as well as our parents as many lifelong friendships have been formed through the band family. If you are new to Marvin Ridge or are new to our band program, please come to some meetings, come to some marching band contests and support the students. We have a talented group of kids and great directors who lead them. We also have a great community of band families and we welcome everyone to get involved and feel the passion of band.
