  • Summer Notes: Parent Portal – parent portal is now turned on for parents and students (as of  Wednesday, August 16th)

    Report card information – If you would like a PDF of your child’s final report card, please complete the information at this link  Report Card Request  and you will receive a PDF of your child’s report card emailed to the email address collected in the form within 48 hrs.

    Student parking – Marvin Ridge High School understands that many students wish to drive to school during their senior and junior years. However, due to the finite number of student parking spaces available, not all applicants will receive a parking permit.  (Student parking lot holds approximately 659 cars and the JR/SR classes of 2023-2024 total 1050 students.  Parking Wait List

    • At this time, all student parking spots have been sold / assigned

    • In January, 10-15 spots may become available due to mid-year graduates, students moving out of our attendance zone or withdrawing from our school.

    • More details will become available at a later date regarding how the waiting list will work. 

    2023-2024 Orientation and Open House is scheduled for August 23-24. We will send a detailed schedule closer to the date.

  • Drivers Eligibility CertificatesDriving Eligibility Requests: Once you have completed behind-the-wheel instruction, make an appointment at the DMV and complete the NC Driving Eligibility Certificate Request form

  • SPCC Textbooks: Attention all current/future Career and College Promise participants (dual credit program offered through SPCC)

    UCPS will no longer purchase, distribute or collect textbooks and access codes for courses. UCPS will reimburse currently enrolled UCPS students up to $50 per CCP course for approved textbooks and online access codes.

  • Current Juniors Meningococcal Vaccine Requirement

    In 2015, the State of North Carolina added Meningococcal vaccine to the school required immunizations.  The first dose of Meningococcal vaccine, MCV, was given to this year’s Juniors prior to the start of 7th grade as a school required vaccine.  The second dose of this vaccine is required prior to the start of the Senior year, the 2021-22 school year.

    If your child does not currently have evidence of the MCV vaccine, please contact your child’s health care provider to obtain it.  Following administration of the vaccine, please submit a copy of the record to the school nurse. This documentation must be on file here at school prior to the start of the 2021-22 school year to meet this school enrollment requirement. Individuals born before 1/1/2003 are exempt from this requirement.
