  • 2022 Homecoming Dance

    The 2022 Homecoming Dance will take place outside on the Warrior Athletic Fields. The backup location should it rain will be the cafeteria and/or gym. The dance is for WHS students only. Ticket information will be available by Friday, September 16th.

  • National English Honor Society Applications

    Attention all juniors and seniors interested in applying for membership to National Honor Society:
     National Honor Society applications are due October 5 and will be handled through Google Classroom.  To apply, you must have a weighted GPA of at least 4.0 and a clean disciplinary record.  To join the Google Classroom and get a copy of the application, paste the following text into an email, fill in the blanks, and send it to Ms. DiFronzo (marisa.difronzo@ucps.k12.nc.usAND Mr. Lukey (benjamin.lukey@ucps.k12.nc.us). Returning members from last year do not need to reapply; however, your attendance is required at our first meeting, which will be announced after applications are finalized.

  • 2023 UCPS graduation schedule available

    Union County Public Schools 2023 graduation schedule is available. Graduations will be held in May and June. For more information, view the schedule. In addition, all traditional high school graduations will be live streamed on the school’s YouTube page for public viewing.

  • UCPS to hold six bond information meetings

    On Nov. 8, Union County voters will decide on $134,405,000 million in school bonds. UCPS will hold six informational meetings about the 2022 bond package and explain the bond history in the county, why we need this bond and the 10-year plan to address capacity, new construction and facility upgrades and renovations.

  • First day of school, welcome back!

    On Monday, Aug. 29, about 40,700 UCPS students returned to the classroom for their first day of school. As students made their way to their new classes, met their teachers and made new friends, school hallways that had been empty for months were now bustling with activity throughout the district.
