Safety Protocols for UCPS Events:
Earlier this school year, UCPS implemented new safety protocols for UCPS athletic and other large gathering events. Per these safety protocols, only clear bags, no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” will be allowed into graduation. All guests are asked to plan accordingly as this will be enforced.
Graduation Parking:
Parking is available at Weddington Elementary, Weddington Middle and Weddington High School. We highly encourage guests to park at the elementary and middle school lots due to their close proximity.
Although there are handicap parking spots at each of the parking locations, all individuals requiring additional assistance are asked to park at Weddington Middle School. There will be a golf cart shuttle for those who need assistance. Handicap loading/unloading will occur in the handicap spots in the front middle school lot.
Due to the number of guests attending graduation, parking will be limited. Families are encouraged to carpool and maximize the number of guests per vehicle.
