Currently, students at Forest Hills can take courses online through two different providers: North Carolina Virtual Public School, which is used primarily for new credit courses, and OdysseyWare, which is used primarily for recovering failed credits.
North Carolina Virtual Public School
North Carolina Virtual Public School (NCVPS) provides students with expanded academic options by offering online courses (AP, Honors, World Languages, electives, etc.). By virtue of the online course delivery, students in North Carolina now have access to courses and highly qualified teachers in subjects that they may not have available at their local school.

OdysseyWare courses provide students an opportunity though computer-based classes to recover credits for certain classes that they have failed. If you are interested in recovering credits, you should see your counselor.
