     Multiple Measures for Community College

    • If students have the following, they will not require further testing or remedial classes for community colleges:
      • Un-weighted GPA of 2.6 and completed 4 maths (Math I,II,III and 4th math above Math III)  OR
      • Has met ACT or SAT benchmarks

Why is community college a smart move?  Here are two common reasons:

    • Financially, students can save tons of money by completing their "basic classes" first at a community college and then transfer to a 4-year college.
    • Academically, some students are not ready to attend a 4-year college due to a low GPA. By attending a community college first, those students can "start over" and prove themselves as a college ready student by a creating a community college GPA.

Two common Community Colleges our students select:

    • South Piedmont Community College (SPCC)
    • Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC)
