  • Volunteers Needed-The Fairview Elementary PTO is looking for volunteers to help with a Fall Fest at Fairview Park on Hwy 601, on October 5th between 9:45-1pm or 1pm-5pm. Interested students should email fvespto@gmail.com with the times you can volunteer.

  • Service Academy Day Info-Service Academy Day will be on September 21, 2019 at the North Carolina National Guard Joint Force Headquarters in Raleigh. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet with representatives from each service academy (U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Military Academy at West Point, U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and U.S. Coast Guard Academy) See information on the School Counseling page of the website under upcoming events.

  • Where Are They Now: PRHS graduate Hallie Gaskill serves up success as luxury hotel’s pastry chef

    For some students, a new class sparks their interest in a career they’d never considered before. That’s the case for PRHS graduate Hallie Gaskill, who was inspired to pursue a career in culinary arts after graduating from the Career Readiness program’s Culinary Arts Academy. Today, Hallie is a Johnson & Wales University graduate who works as a full-time pastry chef in Charlotte. Check out what Hallie said about how UCPS prepared her for the future.
