  • Fall Chorus Concert-The Fall Chorus Concert will be held on Thursday, October 26th, starting at 6:30 p.m. It will be in the PRHS Auditorium. We invite everyone to come listen to songs of hope!

  • Musical Theatre Auditions-We will be holding auditions for You're a Good Man Charlie Brown on November 14 and 16; only one day is required of you. You will need to prepare a 30 sec monologue along with a song not from Charlie Brown. You may provide a karaoke track with your song as long as it does not have any other singers on it, or you may sing your song a capella. Please wear clothes that you can move in because there will be a dance portion of the audition. For questions see Mr. Ford or Mr. Drake.

  • Fall Blood Drive Donors Needed!-The Fall Blood Drive will take place on October 27th! Students please sign up on your FIRST block teacher's door, at lunch or at home athletic events to donate! You must be 16 to donate. If you are 16 you must get a parent permission form from Ms. Craig. If you are a community member and would like to donate, please contact Ms. Craig at rebecca.craig@ucps.k12.nc.us

  • October Maker Series-Come make a fun and frightening candy jar at the Media Center’s first Maker Series of the year! The event will be held Thursday, October 26th from 3-4 p.m. in the Media Center and all supplies and light refreshments will be provided. Registration is required.   • PR senior spent summer abroad

    On June 2nd, senior Emilee Strohl set off on a journey like no other when she lived for a month in Germany. She stayed with Liese Hartmann, a former foreign-exchange student who attended PR in the previous year. “I took my trip because Liese quickly became a sister to me,” she explained, as the two were on the Field Hockey team together when Hartmann attended PR.

  • PR students explored the beauty of Belize

    In June 2017, students from PRHS accompanied by English teacher Rachel Lukasik traveled to Belize in Central America. Once there, they participated in a variety of activities, including: making chocolate from cacao beans, snuba diving, ziplining, learning about local wildlife and culture, exploring Mayan ruins, learning jungle survival skills, exploring caves, and hikes through the jungle.

  • PR cafeteria staff awarded UCPS Team of the Year

    Each year the UCPS School Nutrition Department sends out a team of the year application to be filled out by everyone in the school district. All applications are read over by a committee selected by School Nutrition. Once the applications are reviewed, the school that best meets the team of the year qualifications is chosen based on satisfaction of customers, in terms of service, consistency, cleanliness, quality of food, and overall great team work. PR's cafeteria staff was awarded Team of the Year for the school year 2016-2017!
