  • NHS School Supplies Drive

    Please join the National Honor Society in our efforts to collect school supplies for those in need for the following school year. If you would like to donate, please drop your items off in the cardboard box in the front office. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Martino.

  • PRHS Club/Organization Schedule Announcements

    -Gaming Club is resuming meetings for the second semester! We will be meeting every Tuesday from 3:30-4:30pm on Teams. E-mail Mr. Sweet if you need to be added to the Team!

    -The last Beta Club meeting of the year will be on May 12 after school outside behind the cafeteria. An email was sent to members by Ms. Davison through Canvas.

    -The final Science National Honors Society meeting of the year will be held on Wednesday, May 5th at 3:30 in E207D and on Teams. We will be discussing our "Question of the Day" Instagram contest and will have 2 more excellent presentations from our officers. Contact Mrs. Broadbent or Ms. Self if you have any questions. Hope to see everyone there!

    -There will be a meeting of the PR Gay/Straight Alliance on Monday, May 10th from 3:05-3:35pm. Officers for the 2021-2022 school year will be elected and other new business will be discussed. All are welcome to join in!

  • Prom 2021 Information

    Porter Ridge Prom is on May 15th 2021 (rain date-May 22nd). Only Juniors and Seniors are allowed to purchase tickets. Students may purchase one ticket for themselves and one for their guest if they so choose. Guests who are not a current Porter Ridge student must fill out the Guest Permission Form and return it with a color photo ID no later than Wednesday May 5th.  All guests must be approved. No guests over the age of 20 will be allowed. Please see Ms. Lukasik with any questions. Rachel.Lukasik@ucps.k12.nc.us

  • The State of North Carolina requires the Meningococcal vaccine for students. The second dose of this vaccine is required prior to the start of a student's Senior year.

    Vaccine documentation for all current Juniors must be on file here at school prior to the start of the 2021-22 school year to meet this school enrollment requirement, per the State of NC. Individuals born before 1/1/2003 are exempt from this requirement.

  • Free Meal Info

    One complimentary breakfast and lunch are available every day for students in the school cafeteria. Extra entrees and additional snacks and drinks are also available for purchase daily. One complimentary lunch and snack are available every day for all children 18 years and younger at any of the 8 curbside locations. Friday curbside service includes 3 complimentary lunches and 3 complimentary snacks to be enjoyed over the weekend. Complimentary meals are free of charge for the remainder of the school year.

    Curbside locations are as follows: Cuthbertson High, Parkwood Middle, Rocky River Elementary, Porter Ridge Elementary, Forest Hills High, Monroe Middle, Sardis Elementary, Shiloh Valley Primary.
