Job Ready Partnership Overview

  • Union County JobReady Partnership is a non- profit organization that enhances school-to-work training for students of Union County Public Schools. JobReady strives to ensure a well-prepared workforce for area businesses by giving students the opportunity to obtain additional education and technical skills through outside-the- classroom experiences. JobReady focuses on what employers need today and what they will need in the future. The Partnership strengthens the links between the business and education communities by building alliances between students, employers, parents and community to effect change. JobReady is a partnership of 37 volunteer members representing key leadership positions in business, education and government. JobReady relies on donations from businesses, individuals and foundations to provide all programming experiences. Union County Public Schools funds the Industry Coordinator’s position.
